Dedicated weekly mentorship time built into your schedule — not squeezed between patients. Our Early Clinical Development program pairs every new grad with an experienced clinician.

You determine the frequency and duration of your patients’ plans of care, and you have input on your own clinical schedule. Treat the way you were trained to.

In one-on-one mentoring sessions, your Clinic Director or a Partner works with you on your personal and professional goals — and you can begin on any track and transition as your goals evolve.

Build the foundation of a working professional
The transition from student life to outpatient practice takes more than clinical skill. Self Mastery is where you build stable professional habits — managing a full caseload, mastering documentation, and balancing work with life — with support from our Early Clinical Development program and weekly one-on-one mentorship.
Progression milestone — with a bonus for achieving it — unlocks Phase 2.

Build your own path
Six pathways, yours to choose — and to change. No pathway is more valued than another; the goal is finding the one that fits your values, goals, and fulfillment. Every pathway includes defined milestones, expectations, and additional compensation opportunities, and leadership is built into all of them.
Generalist
Every clinician’s starting point after Self Mastery — deliver excellent outpatient care while building the skills to succeed in any direction.
Specialist
Develop deep clinical expertise in the niche you love, with support for board certifications like OCS and SCS.
Educator
Teach and mentor — shape the next generation of clinicians inside and outside 3DPT.
Director
Lead your own clinic — its team, its patients, and its presence in the community.
Administrator
Grow into the operations and business side of running a thriving practice.

There’s no finish line — by design. Development at 3DPT is never “complete.” Evolving interests are expected and encouraged, and clinicians can sample and switch pathways as their careers grow. Interests beyond these pathways? Bring them to your mentoring meetings — we’ll build toward them together.

Our front desk team runs the patient experience. We hire high-caliber people and invest in them like clinicians: real training, real responsibility, and growth into office coordination, clinic operations, and administrative leadership.

PT Aide → Grad School pipeline
In-clinic experience, observation hours, and recommendation letters that mean something — our aides go on to PT, OT, nursing, athletic training, and PA programs. We also support clinical rotations and offer community scholarships.
